Lawrence County remains at 2 confirmed cases, Richland County 2, and Wabash County 1. There were 2 new cases reported in neighboring Crawford County bringing their total to 7. The leader in COVID-19 cases in southeastern Illinois is Jasper County with 36 confirmed cases. That total was enlarged by an outbreak of the disease at a Newton nursing home.
