Two of the top junior college players in the area have announced they will continue their playing careers. Vincennes University sophomore and third team NJCAA All-American forward Kevin Osawe as committed to Western Kentucky University. He averaged over 17 points and 9 rebounds this past season to lead the Trailblazers to a 28-5 record. As a freshman, Osawe was the MVP of the 2018-19 NJCAA Tournament as the Blazers won the national title. Lincoln Trail College guard Jaylon Holmes will continue his college career at Western Michigan. He started 27 games as a freshman and averaged just over 9 point per game. He showed immense improvement his sophomore year by starting 8 games and averaging over 17 points before his season was cut short by injury. As a result he will have three years of eligibility with Western Michigan
