Damage was extensive at the Mid-American Air Center northeast of Lawrenceville from the straight line winds of last weeks storm system. That was the assessment given to the Bi-State Authority during their monthly meeting Wednesday via teleconference. Manager Kurt Schwartz says the initial estimates are at over $300,000 and could rise even higher with additional assessments. The ultralight hanger was almost completely destroyed and other building suffered varying damages. There were also damages to trees and signage at the airport facility.
