Knox Co. adds one COVID patient and releases 3 others

The Knox County Health Department has been notified of a newly confirmed case of COVID-19, to raise the number of confirmed cases to 16 at this time. The latest individual is in quarantine at their home and contacts have been placed in isolation at their homes.
Meanwhile, three more COVID-19 patients have recovered and are being released from theirquarantine today. Knox County Health Officer Dr. Alan Stewart says each of the threeindividuals have been symptom-free for at least 14 days and can return to the public. However, they are being directed to remain socially distant from others and to be diligent in their activities. Nine other individuals, either patients or contacts, are expected to be released later this weekend.
