The Bridgeport City Council met Tuesday evening via tele-conference from City Hall. Mayor Michael Craske reported that the city finished the 2019-20 fiscal year in pretty good financial shape. The preliminary 2020-21 budget was discussed and will be officially be acted upon in the future. Other topics included residential noise and animal complaints, the sewer lagoon project, Danny Ash remaining as the city school liason officer despite no school session for Unit 10 and the beginning of the process to close a rail crossing in the city.
