Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker and other top state health officials are urging Lawrence County and other area residents to stay home and celebrate the Easter holiday weekend. He was asked by reporters Friday at his daily press conference about the holiday and he reiterated the message of stay home and practicing social distancing during the weekend usually asssociated with faith and family. Many area churches have opted for video services or services broadcast over radio to help slow the spread of the virus.
