Small business in Lawrence County and across the state of Illinois can tap into a $250 million low-interest bridge loan program to help push through the ongoing pandemic. That according to Illinois State Treasurer Michael Frerichs. He announced the progam this week. These linked-deposit loans through Illinois banks and credit unions have been used previously by the agriculture industry, but will now be available to qualifying small businesses.
