The Vincennes City Council met in special session this week via tele-conference and moved to help small businesses in the city in the future. They approved a resolution to set up an emergency microloan program. Monies from the city revolving loan fund would be used to allow a business to borrow up to $5000 for use. They will be able to apply to the revolving loan fund governing board for the money.
