Authorities in Wabash County are continuing to investigate the death late this week of a teenage girl. Mt Carmel Police and Wabash County Emergency Medical personnel were called out Thursday to the 600 block of Division Street after an unresponsive female was discovered. She was taken to Wabash General Hospital where she was pronounced dead. An autopsy to determine the cause of death was conducted with results pending. Illinois State Police C.S.I. Services were also called in to assist in the investigation.
