Four units of the Lawrence-Allison Fire Protection District along with 2 units of the Bridgeport Fire District responded Thursday evening to a structure fire in Lawrenceville. Firefighters were dispatched around 8:25 p.m. to the fire location at 1411 5th Street. The structure owned by Ron Gehlken caught fire due to an electrical problem with the blaze causing an estimated $8000 in damage. There were no reported injuries.
