Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb Monday issued an executive order to state residents to remain at home for two weeks starting Wednesday except for essential workers and those who need essential supplies such as food and medicine. The governor imposed the order during a televised address to Hoosiers. The order goes into effect at midnight Eastern Time and lasts till Monday April 6th, but could be extended. The order is to help slow the spread of the coronavirus across the state. Indiana health officials reported a total of 259 infected people with seven deaths. The new cases this week include one in Sullivan County and two confirmed in Gibson County. No cases reported thus far in Knox County.
