The National Weather Service is continuing the flood warning for the Embarras River at Lawrenceville through Friday. The river Tuesday morning was at 33.53 feet and falling slowly. It is anticipated to fall below flood stage of 30 feet late Friday night. The flood warning also continues for the Wabash River at Vincennes. The river was 18.2 feet and rising Tuesday morning. It is expected to rise to near 19 feet Wednesday and then crest and begin to fall.
