The Board of Trustees of the Illinois Community College District #529 met at Lincoln Trail College in Robinson Tuesday night. Dr. Ryan Gower was selected as Chancellor of the District. He had been serving as President of Lincoln Trail College since July of 2016. Gower will assume the role of Chancellor effective May 11th. During the session, the Board recognized Corey Hall for his service as Student Trustee. They also approved district policy regarding approved leave days and benefits, Dual Credit agreements with high school districts, and a resolution for the issuance of General Obligation Community Bonds for the purpose of repairing the districts physical facilities.
