GOVERNOR CLOSING K-12 ILLINOIS SCHOOLS

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzger announced Friday he is ordering all K through 12 schools across the state to close for the next two weeks to help curb the spread of the coronavirus. Public and private schools will be closed Tuesday March 17th through Monday March 30th.  Meanwhile Illinois Community College District #529 has announced that all face to face instruction for the week of Monday March 16th through Friday March 20th is suspended with faculty and staff working to migrate course materials online. It is anticipated that beginning the week of Monday March 23rd and running through April 5th most IECC classes will be online. All four colleges and the District office in Olney will remain open with faculty and staff on site.
