Lawrence County States Attorney Michael Strange has announced that on Wednesday 36 year old Cara Wimberly of Lawrenceville was sentenced in Lawrence County Circuit Court. She was given a term of 6 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by 2 years of mandatory supervised release for Methamphetamine Delivery, a Class 1 Illinois Felony. She has previously pled guilty to the charge and will pay mandatory assessments.
