The defending NJCAA basketball champion Vincennes University Trailblazers are through to the District championship game. Sophomore Kevin Osawe scored 29 points to pace the Blazers to a 79-63 semifinal win Wednesday night over Southwestern Illinois at Rend Lake College in Ina, Illinois. With the win, VU is now 28-4 and will face #1 seeded John A Logan Friday night for the championship at 8 p.m. Eastern Time. John Logan defeated Wabash Valley College 89-68 in the other semifinal Wednesday. VU is the #2 seed.
