The Lawrence Public Library Board will do more investigation into a planned lighting improvement project. The Board at its regular meeting Tuesday evening indicated a desire to speak with ADG of Mt Carmel about the work which would include installation of a new accoustical tile suspended ceiling along with the demolition of the existing light fixtures and their replacement with modern LED lights. The preliminary cost estimate is around $75,000. The additional meeting would give board members the opportunity to ask more specific questions about the project and if they desire to move forward to explore possible funding options.
