Lawrence County States Attorney Michael Strange has announced that a Lawrenceville man was sentenced to prison Friday in Lawrence County Circuit Court. 40 year old Daniel Tewell was charged with Unlawful Possession Of a Controlled Substance and had been placed on 24 months of felony probation but violated the terms of the probation. He recieved 18 months in the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by 1 year of mandatory supervised release.
