VINCENNES BOARD OF WORKS AND SAFETY

The Vincennes Board of Works and Safety accepted two bids for projects during their session on Monday afternoon at City Hall. The bid from Wabash Utilities for over $1.2 million dollars was recommended by City Engineer John Sprague for the Forbes Road project which involves storm water drainage and infrastructure improvements. Work will begin this summer and should be finished by late summer. The bid of Weyer Electric for around $32,400 was approved for the installation of LED street lighting on Beirhaus Boulevard with the Vincennes Redevelopment Commission funding the work.
