KNOX COUNTY MUSICIAN KILLED IN CRASH

A well known young musician and guitarist in Knox County Indiana was killed Friday night in a two vehicle accident. 18 year old Evan Twitty died when he failed to yield at the intersection of St Thomas Road and U.S. 41 south of Vincennes and his SUV was hit by a semi. Twitty was pronounced dead at the scene. The truckdriver from Kentucky had to be extricated from his vehicle by emergency rescue personnel and was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes with non life threatening injuries. Twitty was a singer-songwriter who was a rising star in fingerstyle guitar playing and had won several awards. He was a South Knox graduate and was an Audio Recording student at Vincennes University. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Eastern Time at South Knox High School with visitation at 10. Burial will follow in the St Vincent Cemetery.
