INDIANS LOSE AT OLNEY

The Richland County (Olney) Tigers used an 11-0 run in the second quarter to break open a close contest and hand the Lawrenceville Basketball Indians a 56-45 loss Friday night at Ron Herrin Gymnasium. The Indians were hurt by foul problems throughout the game and fell behind by double digits and never really recovered as they were forced to foul as the Tigers spread the floor with the big lead. Blayne Winningham had 14 points and Brenyn Winningham 11 for the Indians while Braden Flanagan and Drew Blank each had 19 for the victorious Tigers. Flanagan eclipsed the 1000 point mark for his career during the game. The Indian JV also lost 46-39. The Tribe are now 12-11 overall and 4-3 in the LIC while Richland County improves to 13-9 and 5-2 in the LIC. The Indians hit the road Tuesday night as they head to Bridgeport to meet the Red Hill Salukis on Pack the Place Night.
