The Indiana Department of Workforce Development has released unemployment figures for December for southwestern Indiana. Both Daviess and Gibson Counties were among the lowest jobless rates in the state both at 2.4%. Knox County was near the middle of the pack among Indiana’s 92 counties at 2.8%. Sullivan County remains among the highest counties in the state (sixth) in unemployment in December at 4.2%.
