The Newton Eagles were dominant from beginning to end in a 56-31 win Monday night in consolation bracket play at the Little Illini Boys Conference Tournament at Paris. The Salukis trailed 15-4 after the first quarter, 30-10 at the half and 43-19 after three quarters in the loss. Camren Ray had 11 and Drake Allen 10 points for the Salukis who have lost three in a row and are 6-16 on the season.
