The Good Samaritan Hospital Board of Governors Monday in Vincennes approved the installation and construction costs of a new linear accelerator in the Cancer Pavilion for just over $383, 500. The Oncology Department will recieve the machine this spring two years after its purchase in 2018. The 2018 approval did not include the installation cost which was budgeted for 2020. The new linear accelerator is expected to arrive in May or June and be fully operational in July.
