Lawrenceville Police have completed investigations into three recent accidents including one with injuries. Thursday around 4 p.m. in the 1300 block of 10th Street a 2012 Honda being driven by Nicolas Petrelge of Lawrenceville collided with a parked and unattended Toyota owned by Brevon Watts of Lawrenceville. There were no injuries or citations. One person was hurt in a truck-pedestrian collision just after 10 a.m. Wednesday in the 1300 block of 5th Street. A 2012 Republic Services trash truck being driven by Tyler Mabrey of Oblong was collecting garbage and struck a motorized wheelchair being ridden by Connie Ralston of Lawrenceville as she was passing the truck unseen. Ralston suffered minor injuries and was treated. There were no other injuries and no tickets were issued. Also on Wednesday a 2013 Chevrolet owned by Lawrence Unit 20 and being driven by Ashton McDonald of rural Lawrenceville was traveling in the 1900 block of Lexington Avenue at Austin Avenue when the vehicle veered off the street and into an Ameren Illinois power pole. McDonald and two passengers were uninjured. The vehicle did incur front end damage. There were no citations.
