Illinois State Police say that a Lawrenceville man was killed in a single vehicle car crash in northeastern Lawrence County. The fatal mishap occured Thursday just before 6 p.m. on Illinois Route 33 1/2 mile south of Russellville. 64 year old James Foreman was driving a 1999 Buick north on 33 when he failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the right side of the roadway and overcorrected. The car then hit a tree. Foreman was taken by ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes where was later pronounced dead.
