The Bridgeport City Council has a new member. Brad McDaniel was sworn in at Tuesdays regular meeting at City Hall. He fills a vacancy created when Chuck Lemeron resigned his seat after moving outside the city limits. He will fill the seat on an interim basis until the next municipal election.
