The Marshall Basketball Lions held the Indians to only 6 second quarter points and went on to dominate Lawrenceville  76-43 in Little Illini Conference play Tuesday night at LHS. The tall and talented Lions led 16-10 after one quarter and used their superior size and offensive and defensive  ability to  expand the lead to 39-16 at the half and the host Indians never seriously challenged for the remainder of the game. The Lions were paced by 6’7″ center Jesse Burdick who had a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds with guard Ethan Keown adding 16. The Tribe place only one in double figures with Noah Weger notching 20 points as their offensive woes continued. The Indian JV also lost to the Lions 66-51 with Ethan Kelly scoring 16 and Damon Zollars 15.  The Indians have now dropped two in a row and are 9-8 overall and 2-1 in the LIC.
