Vincennes Police report that a Crawford County Illinois couple is in custody after a vehicle pursuit Wednesday. Authorities were called to the Vincennes Walmart in connection with an alledged shoplifting by 33 year old Stacy Watkins of Flat Rock. She exited the store and entered a vehicle being driven by 38 year old Travis Watkins also of Flat Rock. Police pursued the Watkins vehicle from Walmart to Prospect Avenue where they were stopped and arrested without incident. Stacy Watkins was preliminarily charged with Theft and Travis Watkins with Resisting Law Enforcement. Both were taken to the Knox County Indiana Jail and were being held pending bond.
