A Lawrence County man was sentenced to prison this week in court. States Attorney Michael Strange announced that on Monday 42 year old Michael Vinsel of Lawrenceville was given a term of 15 years with the Illinois Department of Corrections along with 2 years of mandatory supervised release for Class 1 Illinois Felony Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. The sentence stemmed from his arrest for possessing 90 grams of the drug.
