The Lawrenceville Lady Basketball Indians finished second in the Merry Mule Christmas Tournament at Fairfield Friday. The Lady Indians beat Flora early in the day 62-44 and that win advanced them to the title game against the host Fairfield Lady Mules that night and they fell 50-39. The Lady Indians went 2-2 in the tourney with wins over Eldorado and Flora and losses to Mt Carmel and Fairfield. The squad is now 12-4 on the season and will next see action on January 9th when they return to Little Illini Conference play at Newton.
