The Red Hill Basketball Salukis used a strong second half Wednesday night to come from behind and beat the Grayville Bison 58-44 in pool play at the 66th annual Conrad Allen Holiday Tournament at Wayne City. The Salukis fell behind 17-9 after one quarter and were down 34-26 at the half before making their comeback. They outplayed the Bison in the third quarter to take a 46-40 lead and cemented the victory by holding their opponent to only 4 fourth quarter points. Nathan Wirth led the way with 18 points and Camren Ray added 17. The win also snapped a three game losing skid and put the Salukis at 4-6 on the season. They are 1-1 in their pool at the tournament and will be back in action Thursday at 5;30 p.m. when they face Cisne in action rescheduled from Monday.
