Mildred L. Judy, age 90, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away Monday, December 16, 2019 at her residence. She was born March 01, 1929 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the daughter of Freeman Charles and Effie N. (Crozier) Salesman. She married Cecil E. ‘Bud’ Judy on May 21, 1949 and he preceded her in death on August 31, 2011.
Mildred lived her entire life in Lawrence County. She was a retired farmers wife, who enjoyed her free time fishing, camping, and traveling. She also enjoyed spending time with her children, granddaughters, and great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; three brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Mushrush and husband, Caroll, of Chauncey, Illinois; one son, Charles ‘Chuck’ Judy and wife, Dawn, of Lawrenceville, Illinois; three granddaughters, Amy Belding and husband, Todd, of Cypress, Texas, Tammy Berger and husband, Glenn, of Bloomington, Indiana, and Kari Wagner and husband, Cody, of Bloomington, Indiana; five great-granddaughters; two great-grandsons; one brother, Charles Salesman of Robinson, Illinois; one sister, Dorothy Selby of Augusta, Kentucky; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mildred’s wishes were to be cremated, with a private family burial at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Lawrence County Senior Citizens or the Lawrence County Humane Society. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
