The Lawrenceville Basketball Indians picked up their fourth win in a row Tuesday night with a non-conference win at Albion over the Edwards County Lions 47-30. The win was also historic as it was the 700th victory in the 42 year coaching career of Indian Hall of Fame head coach Randy Bishop. But it did not come easy. Unlike a previous lopsided win by the Tribe over the Lions in the Capital Classic in November, the hosts slowed the game down and stayed close to the Indians on their home floor. The Indians led 10-5 after one quarter, 22-11 at the half, and 39-30 after three quarters before they held the Lions scoreless in the fourth and pulled away for the win. Skyler Tewell led the scoring with 15 points, Jordan Jones had 12, and Blayne Winningham added 10 as the Indians improved to 5-3 overall. The Indian JV also remained unbeaten with a 51-15 win to move to 4-0. Hunter Scott scored 15 and Brenyn Winningham 13.  Next up is Vincennes Rivet who travel to Lawrenceville Friday night.
