A wrong way driver from southeastern Illinois was arrested for Driving While Impaired early Sunday in Knox County Indiana. Around 2:50 a.m. Eastern Time Knox County Dispatch recieved a 911 call regarding a vehicle traveling westbound in the eastbound lane of U.S. 50 near Anson Road. The Knox County Sheriffs Department responded and were able to stop the vehicle near the Mount Zion Road. The driver was indentified as 41 year old Joshua Conley of Olney. Investigation determined that Conley was impaired. He did refuse to submit to a chemical test and was arrested and taken to the Knox County Jail. Conley was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, a Class C Indiana Misdeameanor and Driving while Intoxicated-Endangerment, a Class A Indiana Misdeameanor. He was being held pending bond
