The Lawrence County United Fund has announced this week that 11 local organizations in Lawrence County that provide valuable services to local residents will recieve funding assistance from the UF in 2019-20. The organizations were selected by the Budget Committee after applications were made and taken under advisement. The groups are Bridgeport ERBA Head Start, Friends of the Library, Lawrence County Boy Scouts, Lawrence County Camp Girls, Lawrence County Humane Society, Lawrence County Senior Citizens, Lawrence County Teen Center, Sign of the Kingdoms East and West, White House Food Cupboard, and Lawrence County Head Start. You can help out by donating to the United Fund at P.O. Box 23, Lawrenceville Illinois 62439. donations are accepted year round. The United Fund is a 501C3 tax deductible organization and all donations stay in county to help local people in need.
