A thrilling win Thursday night at home for the Lawrenceville Lady Basketball Indians as they rallied from a 6 point fourth quarter deficit to beat Marshall 42-37. The squad trailed 33-27 entering the final stanza but used pressure defense to work their way into the lead and then hit some key shots and free throws down the stretch to pick up their fourth straight win. Jayley Akers led the scoring with 21 points and Chaylee Shick added 10. The Lady Indians improve to 10-1 with the win. The JV lost to Marshall 46-19. The Lady Indians are back in action Monday with a non-conference game at Palestine.
