Patty Tredway Feiock
March 12, 1925 – December 10, 2019
A life long resident of St. Francisville, IL, Patty was 94 years old when she passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at West River Health Campus Assisted Living in Evansville, IN. Patty was born on March 12, 1925 to Venna “ Clark” Gray and Leland James Gray in St. Francisville, IL. She graduated from St. Francisville High School in 1943. Patty married Verle Tredway on April 20, 1948 and they had 4 children. Verle preceded her in death on De-cember 14, 1975.
Patty married Harry Feiock on June 30, 1979 and he preceded her in death on May 18, 1989.
She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.
Patty loved people and her house was always open to anyone who wanted to stop by and visit. She opened her home to many who came and played eu-chre most every night of the week. Patty loved to have fun, laugh and enjoy all of the snacks shared with her card friends. She welcomed new people to join the card club and always said the more the merrier – she’ll be remem-bered for going alone in euchre, saying she’ll either make 4 points or 1 point.
Patty was avid painter – she painted a series of photos of St. Francisville showing the history of the city. One set was displayed at the Catholic Church and is now at the St.Francisville City Hall. A second set of the photos were displayed in her home and was always a conversation starter. Patty painted murals, saw blades, oil cans and anything else she could find to paint on.
She loved her roses and flowers in her yard and was always asking people if they wanted a start of something.
Patty loved family celebrations especially having everyone together on Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter – carrying on a family tradition from her parents. She had great faith and believed in the power of prayers.
Surviving family members include: Mike Tredway (Kathy), Evansville, IN, Becky Gehl (David), Evansville, IN, L.J. Tredway (Lynn), Hilton Head Island, SC and Venna Tredway, Thompsons Station, TN. Patty was a grandma, great-grandma and great-great grandma. Grandchildren include Tammy Morris, Newburgh, IN, Kevin Marchal (Sarah), Princeton, IN, Jim Marchal,
Newburgh, IN, Leanne Marchal, Terre Haute, IN, Jeremy Tredway (Shan-non), Bloomington, IN, Dusty Tredway (Juli) Lawrenceville, IL and Brian Tredway (Emily) Indianapolis, IN. Great Grandchildren – Cody, Tori, Austin, Justin and Hannah Morris, Aria Marchal, Savannah Marchal, Ella Klem, Ka-roline, Kaya, Lincoln and Eva Tredway. Great Great Grandchildren – Levi and Liam Morris, Emersyn Reynolds and Arabella Delmont.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Leland and Venna Gray, 2 brothers, Gene and Mort Gray and 3 sisters, Jerry Brian, Margie Auswerwald and most recently her twin, Betty Hall.
Funeral arrangements include visitation and rosary at Glasser Funeral Home in Bridgeport, IL on Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 5pm – 7pm CST. Funeral service will be held at the Methodist Church in St. Francisville, IL at 10 am on Friday, December 13th with burial following in the St. Francis Xa-vier Catholic Cemetery, St. Francisville, IL.
In lieu of flowers, Patty wanted memorial contributions made to the Senior Citizens Center in St. Francisville, IL.
