The Lawrenceville Basketball Indians reached the .500 mark Tuesday night as they rolled over the Oblong Panthers 74-43 at Oblong. The pressure defense by the Tribe put them on top at each stop-25-12 after one quarter, 45-21 at the half, and 66-35 after three quarters enroute to the victory. Four scored in double digits for the Indians with Jordan Jones leading the away with 15 points, Skyler Tewell added 13, Noah Weger 11 points with 9 rebounds, and Blayne Winningham with 10. The Indian JV moved to 2-0 with a 95-22 win led by Brenyn Winningham with 17 points and Hunter Scott with 13. The Indians improve to 3-3 with their second win in a row while Oblong ran their record to 0-6. Next action for the Indians is Friday when they travel to Flora for Little Illini Conference play.
