The Bi-State Authority which governs the Mid-American Air Center northeast of Lawrenceville met Tuesday evening for the annual December Christmas dinner meeting at Montana Mikes in Vincennes. The authority board did pass a resolution of support for the application for a USDA grant for a project involving a backup generator and monitoring system for the airport water plant. Richard Gardner also presided over his first meeting as board chairman. The Lawrence County representative succeeds Greg Schmidtknecht of Knox County in the position.
