The U.S. Census Bureau says that the upcoming 2020 census is all about getting the proper funding when it comes to getting the most accurate count possible. Tim Olsen is Associate Director of Field Operations for the Census Bureau in Chicago. He indicates that an accurate census count in Lawrence and other counties statewide and across the nation means that local communities will recieve the monies they need to provide services to their residents. There will be various ways that people will be able to participate in the census-via a regular form, via telephone and via the internet. More information regarding participating in the census locally will be released as the new year of 2020 approaches
