The Lawrenceville Lady Basketball Indians captured their second win over county rival Red Hill Thursday night in their home opener at the LHS gym 57-28. The hosts were in control throughout. They led 18-4 after one quarter, 34-15 at the half, and 49-23 after three quarters enroute to the win. Jayley Akers of the Lady Indians led all scorers with 24 points while Caitlyn Bowersock was the only Lady Saluki in double digits with 12. With the win, the Lady Indians complete an early season sweep and raise their record to 7-1 while the loss drops the Lady Salukis to 2-2. Both teams are back in action Monday- the Lady Indians at Flora and the Lady Salukis at home in Bridgeport with Olney.
