The Illinois seven day Firearm Deer Season wraps up this weekend. It begins Thursday and will continue through Sunday. The initial weekend of hunting was November 22 through the 24th. Department of Natural Resources officials remind Lawrence County and other area deer hunters to be safe and practice proper hunting techniques when heading out into the woods.
