Lawrenceville Police Friday arrested a local woman on multiple charges. Taken into custody was 23 year old Rebecca Wells of Lawrenceville. She was preliminarily charged with Criminal Trespass, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphenalia and was being held pending setting of bond in the Lawrence County Jail. Indiana State Police took a Vincennes man into custody after his involvement in a two vehicle accident at Washington Avenue and Carbon Street in Vincennes. 45 year old Housman Paz was found to have a blood alcohol content more than three times the legal limit in Indiana at the time of the accident. He was also found to have his 10 year old son as a passenger in the back of the vehicle at the time. He was charged with Driving While Intoxicated with a Passenger Under 18 and was being held in the Knox County Jail. The boy was released into the custody of his mother. Vincennes Police arrested a Vincennes man on multiple offenses after the discovery of a meth lab at a city location. 38 year old Michael Gibson was charged with Unlawful Possession of Meth, Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Firearm By a Violent Felon, and Carrying a Firearm Without a License. He was booked into the Knox County Jail on $25,000 cash bond.
