The Lawrence Public Library Board met in regular monthly session Tuesday night at the library in downtown Lawrenceville. The board heard from architect Jason Wright of ADG in Mt Carmel about the preliminary cost estimates for a ceiling and lighting improvement project being contemplated. The costs was estimated around $75,000 minus some other costs such as a project contingency and architect fees. It was indicated that the board will think about the project over the next two months before returning in January to make a decision on whether to move forward. They did approve the annual tax levy ordinance of around $264,000- about a 5% increase from the previous years levy. Also set were meeting dates for the year 2020.
