Four units of the Lawrence-Allision Fire Protection District along with Bridgeport Fire Department personnel responded Monday afternoon to an apartment fire in Lawrenceville. Firefighters were dispatched around 12:55 p.m. to the fire location at the 1011 Jefferson Street Apt 5 residence of Garrett Murphy. The fire was caused by some clothing placed against a base board heater which caught fire. Damage was estimated at $100. There were no reported injuries.
