The Parkview 7th grade Lady Basketball Braves finished third in the Little Eastern Illini Conference Tournament played in Paris. The top seeds were upset in the semi-finals but rebounded to beat Newton (Jasper County) 37-29 in overtime to capture the third place trophy. Gracie Hughes led the 12-1 squad with 12 points in the win. They return to action along with the 8th grade Lady Braves on Tuesday when they host Newton (Jasper County) in a rematch at Parkview.
