Grace Anna Crewell, age 98 of Bridgeport, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2019 at Aperion Care of Bridgeport. She was born in Lawrence County on November 17, 1920 to Linus and Hazel Holly Ogalsbee.
Galen Crewell married Grace. He preceded her in death in 2012 after 70 years of marriage.
Grace formerly attended Central Christian Church until her health began to fail. She was a homemaker to her family and worked as a beautician.
Surviving family includes one son, Harold “Sonny” Crewell and his wife Cindy of Lawrenceville, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents- Linus and Hazel Ogalsbee: her husband- Galen Crewell: one granddaughter- Donna Smith: four sisters: and three brothers.
Funeral services for Grace Anna Crewell will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at the Cunningham Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. A private committal at Cresthaven Memorial Park Cemetery will take place.
