Lawrence County States Attorney Michael Strange has announced that a Bridgeport man was sentenced to prison in Lawrence County Circuit Court. 44 year old Christopher Thomas was given 30 months in the Illinois Department of Corrections and one year of Mandatory Supervised Release. He pled guilty to Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Class 3 Illinois Felony. He also must pay a drug assessment fee and court costs.
