Camren Ray of the Lawrenceville-Red Hill Golf Indians is on his way to the Illinois Class 2A State Finals. The junior from Red Hill High School shot 2 under par 70 Monday on the par 72 Charleston Country Club course to win medalist honors at the Boys Golf Sectional. Two other Indian golfers also competed as individuals at the Sectional. Hayden Hesler and Garrett Hulfachor each shot 89 to finish in a tie for 49th in the competition but did not advance. Ray will play in the finals which will be held on Friday and Saturday at the Weibring Golf Club at Illinois State University at Normal.
